Congratulations to the 14U West Toronto Wildcats for winning the 2022 TBA Championship. These players overcame a lot throughout the year, stayed resilient and put themselves in a position to succeed when it mattered most. The Wildcats went 4-1 over TBA playoff weekend with the only loss coming in extra innings on Saturday night. The Wildcats rebounded from that loss on Sunday to win two games to be crowned TBA Champions. Every player contributed to the weekend success and the team’s commitment to developing depth during the season was key. Congratulations again to this team for an impressive accomplishment!
West Toronto U14 has powered through the past couple of years, in these unprecedented times, to come out as the 2021 Toronto Baseball Association Champions!
The TBAs took place over the labour day weekend, bringing together all the Toronto 14U baseball teams together to vie for the championships. The team went 5-1 including two heart stopping extra inning wins in a row.
West Toronto league is super proud of our 14U team and look to build upon this great achievement in 2022.
After finishing the 2021 TBA 11U AAA regular season in first place with a 13-2 record the West Toronto Wildcats went on to win the TBA year-end playoff tournament in East York to become city champions over the Labor Day weekend. The tournament format was a grueling affair with 7 teams competing and the Wildcats having to play 5 games in less than 48 hours. Their depth proved to be the difference as they went undefeated with wins against North York, Leaside, North Toronto, Etobicoke and then North Toronto again in the finals. Congrats to the team for this outstanding accomplishment.
